Renfroe has really frustrated me with his Defense today.....

I know he usually plays better than this but early in the game when they got the basehit up the middle it seemed like he jogged to the ball and both runners end up moving up on the throw to 3rd and eventually scored. He was playing way to deep most of the gameand one almost hit his shoetop when he didn't dive to catch a flyball.

That fly ball in the 8th he came about 5 steps in, ran about 3 steps to his left, than ran at anangle back toward the fenceabout 10 steps and let it get over his head. Cost us two runs. Not to mention he tried to make another 3rd base throw today on a guy he really had no chance to get out and he let the runner from 1st advance to 2nd by not hitting the cutoff. That was inning Graveman ended up with 2nd and 3rd and no outs.

Kentucky played a very good baseball game today. I was at the game today and they are very good on the basepaths. We gave them hell after last weekend for being overrated, but after watching them in person today, I can see why the won as many games as they did. That's a good baseball team.

He looks uncomfortable out there. He doesn't getgood jumps on the ball. He had a chance at one in the 6th or 7th that he got an awful jump on. It dropped 2 feet in front of him and all I could think was that I bet CT Bradford would have made that play, as well as the one in the 8th.

I like Renfroe, but he shouldn't be in center. He's not fast enough and he doesn't get a good enough jump to cover the ground a centerfielder has to. Unfortunately we really don't have another option. Some on here have bashed Bradford, buthe is a legit centerfielder we could have used today and would have saved us 2 runs. </p>

Is it me, or if anybody is trying to take an extra base at any time whether he has a shot at them or nothe is throwing at them......over the cutoff. That allows the other guys to move up when you at least don't throw through the cutoff man....where the cut off can hold that runner at first and keep the double play in effect. he did that at least three times yesterday and their runner moved up every time.

Throwing that guy out at third against LSU got in his head. It's a simple thing but those types of things will hurt you whena teamstrings together a few extra hits. Renfroe looks/acts more like a right feilder to me. Henderson looks like a CF, but I am not sure he has enough arm to play center. Need to recruit a bad *** little center feilder like that one KY has.
