Maybe it’s different out on left coast but Hunter is getting very little recognition IMO. He’s got 30 home runs which is right up there with the rest of the home run hitters in the league. I’d love to see him get traded to somewhere that gets some national publicity. I do have a autographed ball from him.

I was in San Diego a couple months ago. He is much-loved out there. For national recognition, I think the average needs to come up a bit.

Yes but hitting 230ish even with 30 homers needs to change. Needs to get in the 275 range at least.

Yep. Baseball stars have so much less national name recognition it’s not even funny. Mike Trout has had an all-time great career up to this point and many casual sports fans don’t have a clue who he is.

If he were traded to either the yankees or Red Sox, he would be a household name. Used to deal in baseball cards...Card prices automatically shoot up when they are traded or signed by yankees. Exposure.
