We cant buy him out until after next year...

Our only chance is that he is even more stubborn than I think he is and he tries to buck Byrne's demand at Woody being fired to appease the fanbase

I doubt he is more stubborn than YOU think. However, he is not stupid enough to leave our gravy train. You won't hear about Woody getting fired. Somebody will finally get that plane working that wouldn't take him to that interview earlier this year and Turd will find other opportunities.

You won't get the satisfaction of reading a "Turd is fired" headline.

I mean, is this even possible. I don't think it can get any worse and there has got to be some assistant that would work better.

I wish our problems were as simple as just firing Woody, but they are not. I watched all of our offensive plays again this morning since I had 6 crown and cokes at the game. Our tackles are awful. #55 and #79 were abused all game. It was embarrassing. Our WR's get no separation. With Marcus Green out, we don't have capable TE's. Nelson Hurst may be good in time, but he is a true freshman. And what Wes Carroll lacks in arm strength, he made up for with inaccuracy and poor decisons. He played a poor game plain and simple.

I realize that our schemes may be too complicated although it's probably not as complex as most people think. And I also realize that ultimately this lack of talent falls on Croom. But he has been able to put a good defense together and it looks like this recruiting class is addressing a lot of those offensive needs.

1. In 2 previous games, Auburn has scored 34 and 28 points
2. Auburn moved the football, getting over 300 yards
3. Auburn actually scored

1. We havent shown an offense in 5 years
2. We didnt move the ball the entire night- 116 yards. Thats as bad as it gets in college football
3. We didnt score

I've seen the worst 2 nights of college football offense in my life in the past 8 days. First 148 yards by SE Louisiana, and now 116 by MSU.

"Our WR's get no separation."

Do you think this is because our WR's are so bad, OR could it be that our scheme is so bad and predictable, teams easily defend us? I'm going with the latter. We are so damn predictable its sickening. When you arent fooling the defense EVER, its hard to get separation.

Expect Byrne to let Croom have his way for a couple of more games before he steps in. Bryne will let Croom hang himself with McCorvey. Croom is so hardheaded that he'll do it too. Coach34 is right! 21 more games to go.

gone bad hiring him about like Orgeron at ole miss. The difference is they fired him! I think we are stuck with him for multiple reasons. (1)NAACP (2)Money (3)History not on our side.

See my below post. Im as frustrated as everyone else but this hiring was a complete fraud to prevent us from getting slapped harder by the NCAA.

I really was joking about Auburn firing theirs.

If The Gregster tells him fire McCorvey and Croom refuses, The Bynster could gather the ESPN funds and fire his walrus ***

have a good offensive scheme. A good offensive scheme and relatively smart coaches mean better recruits, more wins, and positive momentum. Unbelievably hard-to-watch, ****** offensive scheme, and dubmass 17'ing coaches lead to losing perfectly winnable games, and make it hard to recruit the best QBs, linemen, WRs, etc. It's not that hard to figure out.

You're right, we aren't fooling anyone. But 3 of our top 4 WR's are basically walk-ons.

Jaymel Smith: walkon
Brandon McRae: walkon
Aubrey Bell: grayshirt offer until a spot came open at the last minute
Co-Eric: scholarship

Then you add in no threat at TE (true freshman in Hurst and Brandon Henderson-no scholarship offers) for the AU LB's to worry about.

Do you disagree that last night's blown opportunity to beat Auburn was caused by poor offensive coaching?

1. Probably one of the worst 4th down decisions I've ever seen cost us field position, and a chance to win the game.
2. Every one in the stadium, especially Tommy Tubberville, knew what play we were going to run on nearly every down. Run, Run, Pass, Punt. Rinse, Repeat.
3. I agree with what you're saying - some of our players are not that good, especially on the line. Who is responsible for that?

Most importantly, I'm afraid some of our great-on-paper recruits will waiver after seeing that performance... I would.
