Replay officials got Alcorn's TD right, not conclusive

evidence. The ball touched his hands while the foot was down. I don't think that he had possession but it simply wasn't enough evidence to overturn. The referee said that the call "stands" which is a different ruling than the call being "confirmed." BTW, if any body sees our defense partying in the Junction, tell them that the game has started.

he didn't make a catch by definition before he went out of bounds. ****** call by two officials on that one.

the field but I don't think the replay official could overturn it. We would all be raising hell if we caught that same pass against Alabama and it was called a TD on the field and then overturned by the replay official. The replay official ruling that the play stands basically means that he doesn't think the call was right but doesn't see conclusive evidence to overturn. He will say the call is confirmed when he sees evidence that the call is right.

I saw pretty conclusive evidence that his back foot was off the ground when he gained possession, then his front foot came down out of bounds.
