Replay Question

If I recall correctly, and maybe I do not, but there was a play where we appeared to have scored (maybe Aiden Williams) in the north end zone. There was an awkward pause and no replay.

Then the non touchdown by Texas in OT gets replay immediately.

what constitutes when a play is reviewed and isn’t?

Correct. They stop play on encroachment or unabated to the quarterback. Somehow, that play was both.

The refs sucked so bad. That should have been a personal foul or we should have had the opportunity to decline the penalty if it was a touchdown.
It wasn't a play, so there wasn't going to be a TD. But when they stop a play for the DL being unabated to the QB, it does seem like a personal foul if the DL goes ahead and crushes the QB. Maybe they thought the DL didnt have a chance to let up.

It’s the refs call to call that dead. So either they didn’t call it dead and it’s a td, or they did and it’s a personal foul. If they weren’t required to call it dead, then it was dead and it’s a personal foul.

They stopped play because DL made contact with our LG or C.
