Is there an equivalent of the Rooney Rule in college that I don't know about? How does he continually get interviewed at places he has no shot of getting hired?

Do we know that he is actually getting these interviews or is it just his agent floating stories? No one is going to specify 'No...we didn't interview him'.

Because its a basketball school thats over shadowed by the better football school in ASU. Plus RR got all he could out of Arizona. Time to move on.
I lived in Arizona and it's nice but really hot during the summer. 100 degrees at 12:00 am and air conditioner running 24 hours. Stay out of the sun till 7:00-8:00 pm

Let's not get crazy. It's not 100° at midnight in the summer. It cools off into the 90s

Has anyone seen or heard anything definitive that Rutgers is going after him? It is possible they want to go a new direction.

ASU offensive coordinator leaving to coach Memphis, perhaps a sign that RR is on his way out?

I'm sure nobody knows except for the folks conducting the search. Just the fact that they went out a search firm gives us a clue. They didn't need a search firm to pursue Schiano.

We just fired Hermann because of gaffes and many of you think RU will consider RRod and all of his warts....

GS thinks he deserves a high profile job.... He is good for program building. Honestly thinking he should take a job at UCF for a couple of years, he would do well with local Florida talent.

RR was not a successful B1G coach, this is a defense oriented league
One of the most intelligent posts' I've read was on the UM board when RR was there. Poster analyzed UM players, citing Jake Long, QB and RB (all first rounders) staying for their last year of eligibility on a team that barely beat a down Florida team.....on a soggy field no less........pointed out that there were several, at most, starters on the team in RR's first year who would start on the majority of the "average" B1G teams, that Carr's recruiting had really tanked, and that the team was more void of talent than what many M fans would admit to.

Geessh, maybe RR will bring GRob with him to handle the defense. Worked well at Michigan.
