Due to a power outage in Scummit the Argo vs Reavis game has been rescheduled to noon tomorrow.What a joke that operation is down there

Everclear punch is popular this time of year with Corn Products and the financial drain of Seat Geek / Toyota Park May have eaten up the electrical needs of the Argo region ? There was a large multi car accident near the school on Harlem in the AM Friday that may have been related?
Funny story.Argo used to have those real old unique light towers.They were so old that whenever you watched a game there they had flags of their conference opponents on them.Up until a faithful night which I’ll get into here in a minute.Argo had all the teams from the Illini 8 still flying including old Joliet East,Kankakee Eastridge & Kankakee Westview as well as Lockport West!!! One stormy & windy night there was a big loud crash.Residents called the police thinking it was a train derailment or truck/car crash.Police searched & found nothing.Next day as the students & teachers arrived they found the answer.All the light towers after many many years of use had all collapsed onto the field.They had to be removed & Argo had to raise funds a few years to get new ones
I read on Reavis Twitter there was a factory fire in Scummit so they either lost power because of it or cut the power.Maybe too hard on Argo this time :/
Final...Rams 56 Argonauts 13...Reavis moves to 4-3 and will host Evergreen Park who is also 4-3 after a big win last night vs Eisenhower...Argo still winless
I take my hat off to the kids at Argo who have the balls to play each year.Same with programs similar to Argo.Lots of kids sitting in the stands & walking the hall who run their traps but don’t play
