I've had no luck getting through to the ticket office or the bulldog club. For the deadline of March 4th, is that for the per ticket donation requirement for the 2014 season? If I donate now does that go towards the per ticket donation for the 2014 season?

Yes, I've waited until the last minute, but I've had more important **** to worry about.

Well, it might not improve his standing. Everybody else's 2014 donation goes for the same purpose too, so he could get better, or could even get worse, depending on how much he donates.

I'm pretty sure they're doing what they've done the past few years, and that is to assume you're giving the same as you did last year and start charging you for that.

True dat, based on my experience yesterday

First on-line, then on the phone (twice) for clarification.

After pledging, then ticket ordering, I still don't know if I've confirmed renewal of my previous seats for the upcoming football season. I was told, I'd get something in the mail.

Seriously, in the cyber age, does it have to be so complicated/convoluted?

I did the same as you and waited until last minute. You'd think the athletic site would make it easy to sign in and find where to purchase tickets. But it was nearly indeciferable. Took me a while but I finally got in, i sat in section 7 last year and best I can tell they had my contribution at a level that would put me across the field. Very confusing.

The only thing you are required to pay now is 1/3 of your total ticket amount. This will not improve your standing, so if you want to do that, make a donation to the BC, increase your pledge, or both. Personally, I'm not trying to increase my ranking, so I paid the 1/3 to ensure that I will get tickets. I have been on the West side for years, but will probably switch to East this year.

Would be helpful to be available today, perhaps at the baseball game, to answer questions, take pledges, donations, etc.

Is there an easy way online to just pay 1/3 of the total season ticket amount? It's really not a very user friendly site, and all I've been able to find is a way to pay the full amount for tickets. I may well be a moron, but I just didn't see an option to pay less than that. And, no one answers when I've tried to call.

Yes, log on to your dog tag, go to renew season ticksets, go all through to where you pay and you should see an option to select a payment plan. Click that to select plan for 2014 football season. Let's you pay one-third of amount.

Thanks. That seems to have worked, but was not at all intuitive. I just clicked football season as the payment plan, and it charged my credit card without giving me payment plan options. Which is fine with me, but I'm kind of annoyed by the fact that our site couldn't be easier to navigate.

Yeah. I was going through trying to find how to pay the 1/3 and all of a sudden I had paid the full amount.

A lot of people must be improving their status this year. I increased my donation a little (about 10%, which is a lot more than inflation) and managed to fall over 150 spots. I was just over 1000 last year, and now am at 1176.

Email the BDC for questions

They are responding quickly via email (15 minutes or so) --- E-Mail:[email protected] --- and thank goodness for that, as I was able to change my donation from TTF to BDC at the last minute. Was told via phone earlier this year that TTF would count towards seating required donation, which is not actually the case. Excellent customer service from the good folks at the BDC.
