Boy that Reese AB was ugly. Some really uncomfortable swings to foul balls off
Ace has not shown good plate discipline for a while now. Swings at a lot of pitches out of the zone. Then let strike 3 go by.
And Reese with the lazy tag I'm not getting my uniform dirty.
Reese had 3 chances to tag the runner out there and missed them all
I think he needs sit a game. I would've thought maybe tonight.
Edited to add: he either needs to sit a game or find a fat chick between now and Friday.
Ace missed the tag as the runner was sliding into 3rd base & again when he came off the bag.

I agree you really couldn’t tell and the umpire was right on top of it. Reese should have tagged more aggressively instead of just swiping at him

This was a game I've thought was a possible loss all season. It may not have been domination, but it's a solid win.

LSU is having a very Mississippi State season.
Offensively, and really defensively too, this has not been the same team since we left Oxford. Fortunately pitching has been mostly pretty good. But we’ve got some guys who need to get their heads out of their asses & start playing ball again.
Better than getting run ruled by Jacksonville State like Auburn did
