I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, but we didn't respect the bell at the end of the game last night. We will probably be fined. We did so well all game and during the last minute all hell broke loose. I realize it was an emotional time and may have had no impact on the outcome of the game, but it's a shame that we couldn't wait until the game was over. I just hope we get to keep them next year. It truly has been fun with the new rule.

we rang non stop after those two BS combined fifteen yard penalties. I have a blister the size of half a golfball on my hand this morning to show for it. But I honestly think it was to send a huge 17 you to the refs more than it was to try and interrupt OM's awesome offense.

constant changes of possession, timeouts by Nutt, scoring by us...

initially, the 2 personal fouls where the refs swallowed their whistle on the 4th down after forward progress had been long stopped, then by the time they decided to call the play over tempers were flaring. The refs were responsible for any altercations that happened on that play and to be honest I didn't see anything happen that out of the way anyway. The Reb RB pulled himself out of the pile and tripped onto the ground best I could see. Then when the Rebs called the timeout with a minute to go to stop the clock before we punted things just went nuts. The game was TOTALLY over at that point and for Nutt to prolong things trying to get some consolation TD on a last minute drive was more than most MSU fans were willing to put up with.

unless we are playing Bammer or LSU. Now if we had rang out of turn with them=BIG FINE. Apparently the bears thought they were important enought to benefit from the cowbell compromise too.
