Retain Shoop or No?

[Indndawg]

I like what he did vs Mississippi but that MCB was horrendous. I.Don't.Know.

[Bulldog Bruce]

Rex Ryan for DC. This would complete my outside the box post.

[tired]

Believe he's staying.

[bulldogbaja]

Keep him. A little bit of continuity will help. Also, we could do much worse.

[engie]

Oh good lord... in the Music City Bowl, he was down four of our five starting DBs, and the captain of our defense/one of our two starting linebackers. It was HIS defense that was actually affected by tutorgate. And had terrible luck this season on the injury front. Not to mention how damn demoralizing our offense has to be. Shoop gets a pass for this defense. Especially after being #1 nationally last year. This was a textbook "free pass" season.

It's gonna help a lot when the head coach has your back and isn't the players' best friend. Shoop's 2018 not only had talent but leadership. Throw in a revived S&C program and the defense will look way better.

You have serious tunnel vision.

And you were the one of the 12 fondling JoeMo to the bitter end. Shut your piehole

[Shamoan]

i will support him. he has been dealt a really crappy hand with tutorgate and the early draft guys. if we can find someone better, we should, but moorhead did him no favors and i would be ok if he stays in the ship.

[Crazy Cotton]

Would love to see him stay

At this point I'm glad we hired Moorhead. It will help with the transition to the Leach offense.
