Bones:

Is your post a cryptic admission you finally saw The Blues Brothers?

Is that where that saying is from?

And this is where Duane "The Rock" Johnson got 'candyass' from?

Interesting, but still haven't seen it

Bones:

I can't attest to either with any certainty, but I would venture to say "getting the band back together" likely gained fame from Belushi and Ackroyd.

As I am sure some of the posters my age can corroborate, the film is hilarious. Of his few movies, it rivals Animal House as Belushi's best. Although the main plot is pure comic gold, the film has numerous subplots, involving several parties chasing the duo throughout the film. Of the figures pursuing the pair, I always found the character portrayed by Carrie Fisher to be the best. A scorned lover, she trails him the entire film and her confrontation with him near the end is hysterical. Along the way the two outwit or evade Illinois Nazis, the owner of Bob's Country Bunker, The Good Old Boys band, and two determined Illinois State troopers and their boss played by John Candy.

A must see.............

That's the rumor.

The truth about the old dark side... Godfather promised to write a code that would allow for easy voting and ranking...and it never happened...what a life disappointment.
Give Godpops a break. He was busy building a dynasty.
