- Believed Carter would relent on Sunday until Ole Miss (desperately) announced Pete Golding was permanent hire as HC.
- Joey Freshwater stories come to the surface - Lane is still Joey Freshwaterin'
- Complained about fans not showing up at games.
- Fans show up at airport to berate him leaving.
- Had to invent "his loveable dog" Juice Kiffin as a PR stunt to make him more likeable.
