It's crazy looking back. It shows you how many 4 star's you really need to get, as so many of them don't pan out. Noel Devine was one of the craziest gets we ever had. Yes, Gwaltney paved the road, but Devine was a MAJOR get and man was he fun to watch. IMO those late RR days were some of the best we ever had.
I often wonder if we went a different direction after RR if we could have sustained success. I believe we would have. The drop off with Stew was significant. I'll never forget the back to back ECU and Colorado losses. I was stunned...
