We spend so much more in NIL on football and have some of the best resources out there. Rhule has no excuse. 7 years is 3-4 too many

Rhule took over a bottom half NU team and still has them bottom half.

To be fair Fred was absolutely terrible his first few years.
Rhule took over one of the worst programs in 10 years. It is impossible to make it good quickly. Impossible. Takes 3-4 years at least.

He has proven he is not a good decision maker with the resources available to him. He cannot even make good decisions in game. If he gets a bump in NIL, he better deliver and stop getting blown out.

Rhule is lost as a game day coach. Its obvious. Fred knows how to coach. it took way to long but he has 1 team this year that's doing great.
Rhule will not win 9 games in his career at Nebraska. If he wins 8 it will be a miracle.

To be fair Troy Dannen transparently told us all He clears out obstacles for his coaches. I recall he said “Like a snowplow”.
We hired a .500 coach. Ruhle has been a .500 coach. 19-19 same as Riley who was also a .500 coach before he was hired. Why people expect more is a mystery to me. Zero wins vs top 25 teams. Zero "signiture wins" after 3 seasons. Right on par with what I would have expected. That is not to say I want Ruhle fired. Dannen is another story altogether. We can always hope for more, and remember that even a stopped clock is right twice every day. Things may fall into place and we could see an 8 win season at some point. In the end, I expect Ruhle will end up about .500 when he is done here. Has apathy set in? Probably with part of the fan base. But to many NU football is still important.
