Satterfield’s contract expires on New Years Day. Hope that’s one that is replaced.
Barthel’s runs through Feb 2027. He’d need a buyout, but I’m okay with that.
Raiola’s runs through Jan 2027. I’d more than support that buyout.

These 3 need to go but what’s the point with Satterfield? Rhule has never tried to use a TE as a big part of his offense. Never. He inherited one of the best TE in tbe nfl and the guy jumped ship when Matt was hired.

Luke coukd have had a big year but For what ever reason we stopped using him in the 2nd half of the season

Jason Eck at New Mexico just went from 5-7 and 40 returning players - least in FBS - to 9-3 and a potential conference title game birth.

Good coaches win immediately. Don’t let anyone tell you different.

And guys who have a history of losing don’t just suddenly start winning.

Rhule isn’t a very smart coach at anything.

Lindenmeyer production tapered. Haarberg transition was rough. Virtually never utilized in passing game. Blocking was either good or bad, hardly consistent. His wildcat plays were always terrible. Nelson is AWOL at TE. Healthy enough to play every special teams snaps, but can’t get any pass catching roles. A talented athlete every major school wanted and of course Nebraska is where his career goes to die (dramatic, I know). Is there any development or new talent on the way? Are we supposed to rely on Markway who’s been injured for 2 years? All the ravings Rhule has done on players in the past haven’t yielded much on the field. So I don’t trust Markway to be anything above average at this point. I hope he proves me wrong.

If I am a good OC or DC, have any promise or potential to move ahead in the coaching world and a call comes in from MR, I'm going to hang that phone up fast. And then get an unlisted number. Or have somebody screen my calls. If I am that guy, several things I am certainly not doing.

1. Taking any call from MR or Dannen.
2. Eating truck stop sushi
