These 3 need to go but what’s the point with Satterfield? Rhule has never tried to use a TE as a big part of his offense. Never. He inherited one of the best TE in tbe nfl and the guy jumped ship when Matt was hired.

Lindenmeyer production tapered. Haarberg transition was rough. Virtually never utilized in passing game. Blocking was either good or bad, hardly consistent. His wildcat plays were always terrible. Nelson is AWOL at TE. Healthy enough to play every special teams snaps, but can’t get any pass catching roles. A talented athlete every major school wanted and of course Nebraska is where his career goes to die (dramatic, I know). Is there any development or new talent on the way? Are we supposed to rely on Markway who’s been injured for 2 years? All the ravings Rhule has done on players in the past haven’t yielded much on the field. So I don’t trust Markway to be anything above average at this point. I hope he proves me wrong.
Coach Blake passed back in 2020. But getting a John Blake type would be nice to have on this staff.
