Rhule's record against interim coaches?

Do we really have a coach that is going into year 4 and might go 1-3 against interim replacement coaches? Might it be better to just have interim coaches at NU and put that money towards players?

That's because their backups are better than our starters.

As far as Rhule goes, his record is what it is. His speel is preaching and turning a program around. Not staying and coaching long term.

He has never done that and never will IMO. But of course we buy in as a University and extend him for doing absolutely nothing.

Every current coach in the BIG 10 could do as well or better at Nebraska. Most would be better just based off game day coachng alone. Sad but true.

Nebraska fans need a reality check of where our program is. Also, we need to stop reading and listening to the ridiculously bad sunshine pumping , University ball sucking up media like ON3 and Self proclaimed King fat Deano and all the rest.

I think people are only pissed off because then the collective fan base thinks things are ok until October of next year. And then our normal collapse, and people acting surprised we didn't win 11 games, and over and over again. I know Michigan probably got away with firing their unwanted coach with cause but they had a plan in place to get Whittingham clearly. There is no Rhule in place that says we can't fire Matt at any time and hire a better coach, just like Michigan did. They just happened to monitor Moore's behaviors and leak them so his firing made sense.

There is always a huge portion of the fan base that thinks we "can't do better" which is so weird.

It is not like Rhule was some proven commodity and is just being average here. He was average before he got to NU. He is being what he always has been.

I have the Seahawk game on and the announcers were talking about Sam Darnold's time in Charlotte. He liked the city but wasn't a fan of the coaching. I think Matt Rhule was there at that time.
