I'm fine with us staying home with a 4-8 record. And Mississippi State is 5-7 in the Mayo bowl. Regardless, it hurts me to see MSU in a bowl and us sitting at home.
The latter doesn't hurt me a bit. The former is ridiculous no matter who it is.And Mississippi State is 5-7 in the Mayo bowl. Regardless, it hurts me to see MSU in a bowl and us sitting at home.
right team, wrong bowl.....my badAlamo Bowl featured TCU and SoCal.
Rice played in the Rmed Forces Bowl.
The opinion regarding ridiculousness certainly goes way beyond this board. And if the parties you mentioned are oblivious to it, that says way more about them than about the people holding the opinion.I’m sure that both losing teams, their fanbases, families, and the bowl sponsors are chagrined that they’re viewed as ridiculous by this board.
Well I guess we perceive that which we wish, my friend. The opinion regarding ridiculousness certainly goes way beyond this board. And if the parties you mentioned are oblivious to it, that says way more about them than about the people holding the opinion.
Worked out beautifully for them.App State accepted a bowl invite with a 5-7 record too.
Thanks, that's the other one I saw but forgot who it was. Played ga southern.App State accepted a bowl invite with a 5-7 record too.
If it was un in Charlotte, it would have been the first griiron meeting with the Deacons since the late 80s in W/S when we took over Groves. And Mississippi State is 5-7 in the Mayo bowl. Regardless, it hurts me to see MSU in a bowl and us sitting at home.
One could consider it alomts a pre-spring practice scrimmage.Glad we didn't make a bowl this year. We needed some "me time" to get our crap straight, hire new coaches, retain good players, and prepare to hit the portal. Otherwise, I like even mid level bowls. Simce I was a young boy, I hungered to watch more college football. The days are short. Enjoy more. Complain less.
