Richard Williams goes in MSHOF tonight

I wouldn't say he let it go to his head. He just kind of went off the deep end for a while. Call it a mid life crisis or whatever you want to, but he was miserable and he didn't know why. Richard is one of the nicest guys I know, but he turned into the biggest ******* after the final 4 run. That lasted for about a year after he got canned then he was back to the same old person that he was before and he is today.

Richard could have been the next babe McCarty plus but we humans have an amazing capability to derail ourselves with the flaws in our character, believe me I have many. Richard seems to be on a good path now and I congratulate him and wish him continued success.

Hey, I'm not saying he's a bad guy or anything... Just thought the article went a step further than simply not mentioning the reason he was fired. Really excited he's around the program now and even more so that he's finally getting recognition for 1996.
