Harvey Hull looked great and seemed genuinely proud to be on the field again. The man was a beast and a demon in his day.

Richard Williams looked like he was either pissed or had had too much facelift to get any expression on his face. Still, I loved the way his teams played and hearing him talk about it with Jim Ellis after the games on the radio.

Don't know much about the softball player. She looked lik a hoss.</p>

First time I'd seen Richard Williams in many years. Dude looks OLD now. Looked like he was touched - watery eyes and all. Or maybe it was vodka.

Not only was he a beast (he was the original #99, he was a genuine first class person. My favorite play of Harvey's was when he intercepted a Richard Todd lateral to the running back in the Bama game and ran it for a TD.

and that play epitomized his career. Ask any Alabama player of that era, who they feared the most.....Harvey Hull. Ask someone who that center was who was punked by an extremely quick nose guard (Harvey Hull) when he took the lateral to the house.

Sylvester Croom asked immediately when he got to Starkville where Harvey was and if he was associated with the program.

If Harvey and Rae Costict were on today's team, our defense would be 1 or 2 in the SEC. They were both that good. And both were great team guys.

Harvey and I used to be friends and we lost contact with each other. Where does he live now and what kind of work does he do?
