Richardson's good, but I don't like an RB that high, unless he's pretty special

today's NFL is going to two backs, plus the fact RBs seldom last long. It's not too hard to find an effective RB, and I just don't know if Richardson is going to be great.

I still think Tannehill is the worst pick in the draft. Reaching big time on him. On a side note, John gruden loves every pick every team makes if you havent noticed

fast, agile, and a bruiser. I think he'll be a baddass assuming no injuries.

Draft to help the passing game, or combat the passing game. RBs are at the bottom of the list.

ever missed a game due to injury. Could be wrong on that, but think I'm right. Dude's just bullet proof.

I think some of you are overstating the demise of the great back. Richardson is a great football player, with and without the ball in his hands. it's true that a lot of late round backs have had tremendous games and seasons, but I think there's still room for a truly great back on the field. The NFL is a game in which any player on the field can make the game-deciding play. I think Richardson has the potential to make a hell of a lot of those critical plays. Also, the NFL has late round stars at every position, not just RB.

Somewhat....if you think he's going to be an elite talent at rb then you make that pick. If you need a rb and you're drafting top 5 and peterson, mjd, rice, or jackson are available you'd take one 10 times out of 10. And that's the kind of player most people richardson can be so I don't think its bad at all. He offers more than just running, he's a great blocker, returner and receiver

In regards to a local player (who grew up an MSU fan).. Tampa Bay trading down for later draft picks.. look for them to draft Austin Davis in the later rounds.. also, great team for Fletcher Cox.. #EaglesBandwagon

i don't think it was a bad move. <div>
</div><div>the browns had 13 picks this year thanks to the falcons deal from last year. they traded i think their 6th, 10th, and 12th picks in the draft to move up. only 6 or 7 rookies are gonna make the squad.</div><div>
</div><div>i think richardson is the best RB prospect since peterson. the browns have an awesome LT (joe thomas) and a shutdown CB (haden), so they didn't need kalil or claiborne, so that left blackmon or richardson or tannehill. richardson is the surer bet of the 2. they might have thought it was a reach to take a QB project at 4. and the bucs were gonna to trade up and take richardson if the browns didn't.</div><div>
</div><div>and yeah, you can find quality RBs late, and they don't have a long shelf life, BUT the browns now have richardson locked up for his prime years at a discounted rate. they can let him walk in 5 years or so after they run the hell out of him and he wants $15M/year or whatever.</div>

I think he's the best RB to come out in a long time. But I agree, I don't like picking a RB that high. The NFL isn't a RB game like it was 20 years ago. It's a QB/WR game.
