and I have read comments from every side about him on various internet sites and still don't have a clue about what kind of real shot we have to get him. Seems even supposed people "in the know" are just guessing when it comes to which school Richie will end up at. One thing I don't understand is why Tennessee would even be attractive to him right now given their current situation unless he has some connection up there I don't know about.

Without a definite connection to a school, and without an offer from a powerhouse... I just don't see how a LB (or frankly some other defensive positions too) would pick against MSU right now. Our defensive schemes and coaching is really outstanding.

and yes, I know who Patrick Willis is... I don't know that Brown would want to wait his turn until he's a Jr.

and 7 of those 9 ahead of Ritchie played more games than him. His 17.4 tackles per game is probably in the top 6-7 or so in the country.
