and Tennessee have removed their names from Final Four contention.

Calling all posters who have been on his jock all year. Still feel the same?
Rick Barnes was exposed to me when he had Kevin Durant and couldn't get out of the first weekend.
TJ ford aint walking thru that door tennessee!! Choooooooooooooooooke master
He’s still good for Tennessee. But that’s just not saying much.
Rick Barnes and Tony Bennett should co-author a book called Why The Regular Season Is More Important.
Meh. This one isn’t on him. That was a terrible phantom foul call for Edwards at the end of regulation. But....floppers gonna flop.
Hate UT but respect Schofield. But was very happy to see the flopper go home. Can’t stand his ***
Purdue player was out of bounds to boot!
YES Great game …. so glad to see those Vols go home.
Phantom foul? Turner hip checked Edwards in mid air. Tennessee has gotten the benefit in the SEC all year for ticky tack calls. No sympathy here
He wasn’t out. His heels were over top of the line, but not stepping on the line.
I mean, rarely is an individual game actually on a coach. Usually you could say that he would've won had his players executed well.
But the circumstances, culture, and group of players that he fills the program with determine what goes on in the big picture.
And the big picture for Rick Barnes is a crapload of talent with 1 final four in history.
That’s why I said floppers gonna flop (Williams). But, bad call in my opinion.
It most certainly is on him lol. He let his team play like idiots for a whole half two games in a row and was lucky to make it to the sweet 16 with a final four caliber team.
He wasn't Mike, they zoomed in on it. He was toeing that line though. I do not think it was a foul though...I would have been livid if that happened to us.
We need robot refs.
Not gonna lie if they called something similar to that on UK in that sitation I would lose my sh*t
Rick, Kentucky will take it from here... Don’t let the door hit ‘ya, where UK previously split ‘ya!
What a clown.
Looking at his overall coaching resume really shows you how badly his teams choke.
Tennessee is such a joke of a program. Was it one Elite 8 and ZERO Final Fours? [laughing]
I will say that foul at the end of regular was a terrible call and an absolute joke. You don't call that there. The contact occurred after the ball was released, was minimal, and had nothing to do with the outcome of the shot. 100% should've been a no call.

Right! Edwards did just enough to sell it. Just seen the replay when Edwards drove. Ball went off him.
What exactly did the "Greatest" Vols team since the Earnie and Bernie show win...not a damn thing!
Regular seas....oh wait LSU did.
SEC Tourn...no that was Auburn...
NCAa...oops....we got this, its a Blue Blood thing.
Thanks for playing the game UT. You did win that meaningless Zags game last year. hope you enjoyed the moment.

Where's the trash talking Vols fans at now? Imagine that.
I think Barnes has done a great job at UT but they will eventually see it just doesn't win the big game. That is why Texas was always frustrated with his coaching losing in the NCAA Tourney. Coach Barnes in his 17 years at Texas made it to the Final Four once and Sweet 16 twice and the other 15 years out in the 1st and 2nd Round. This UT team loses Schofield and Alexander. Does Grant Williams leave after his Junior Season and what about Bone, Turner, and Bowden all juniors?
They had videos of Tennessee school kids doing this crap. An 8th grader in my county did the dunk at one school. Even did it at an elementary school on a lowered goal. Bunch of little vol fans jumping up and down.
Don't dislike Barnes as a person (what little I know of him), but he does always seem to come up short. Not sure this one was his fault. Vols missed enough FT's in 1st half to have won in regulation.
