Anybody see this article? Maybe this was already discussed not sure, ignore if it was. I know there have been speculation/ rumors of coaches contacting players and maybe getting in their heads.
I have not idea to what extent, if any the former coaches are contacting these current players. I do believe the mindset of this team is horrible. Reminds me very much of last year. If there are coaches out there still pumping negativity into these players it would make sense that it shows out on the field. Negativity spreads like wildfire, as we all know on this board all to well. I can see it being even worse in the locker room.
My first reaction after the bad start was to blame MR for poor coaching. After sitting back and thinking, I do believe there is much negativity left over from the previous staff and if their contact is continuing it sure doesn't help anything. These players are playing with no emotion, no self control, no passion. Coaching can only do so much with that mindset. If the coaches can pin point the players, I said get rid of them. I don't care if they are starters or not. I would rather lose every game and have players busting their *** every single down, than have a bunch of poor me, daddy got fired, starters, half assing it.
