This is the second thread I've opened that has this as the title... and I'm still not sure if it's sarcasm or what he actually said.
The news said the statement was made by Pitino, but it reads like Steve Pence all day.

I think uofl is going to have to pay out his contract if they fire him...and I know some of the board of trustees already wanted him gone after the ***** scandal but that's why they didn't fire him. They're gonna have to fire him, but what a POS to not man up and resign.

The fact that his agent is out ahead of Louisville saying anything makes it all clear: This is simply the chess game over the size of his buyout, and whether the school will activate the "just cause" clause.
As far as that goes, you are right. But more is involved. This investigation will produce federal indictments. People are going to jail over this.
