When Rick Ray was hired many people on this and other message boards were mad, because they wanted us to hire Kenny Payne.

Well Rick Ray was really bad, but is it possible Kenny Payne would’ve been worse? He’s currently off the an 0-9 start at Louisville.

They have. They started it off with a 27-point loss to Miami, and yesterday they played 1-9 Florida State and lost by 22. This Louisville team is historically bad.

They play our old pal Stansbury and Western Kentucky next. WKU is 8-1 so that doesn’t look likely to be a win. They play FAMU after that, and if they don’t win that game, they very well might go winless. It’s looking like they will win fewer than five games this season.

Because a percentage of fans always want the best recruiter no matter the coaching ability. Ray was neither though - so we would have been (and were) SOL either way. Because that search was doomed from the start.

It’s amazing that any program, much less Louisville can be this bad

Louisville is 360 out of 363 in the latest NET rankings. That has to be the lowest a P5 team has ever fallen.

State is 6th, if you were wondering.

If there was ever a justification for an early exit, this would be one. AD needs to fire him and anybody who ever hired him as HC again needs their brain examined. This has to be the most pitiful effort I've ever seen.
