Didn't drive up. Didn't set up. My 2 tickets among the 6 we have together went unused I believe. My lease up there will be up in December, and I don't suspect we will renew, which means the season tickets probably won't be renewed either. I walked in from working on something and ordered some food for the first half. Went back out about the time of the Tua injury, and just came back in to reference some parts diagrams before I go back and finish what I was doing and catch a little of the Georgia/Auburn game.
I think the way I've done it the past few years has come to an end. Will go up for 2-3 games a year going forward. Haven't decided what I'm going to do with my enclosed trailer and turnkey tailgating operation yet. Probably just keep it and set up around here when the opportunities arise and then do the Egg Bowl every year wherever it is and one or two big games per year.
I can't put all of my apathy on Joe. A lot of it is outside circumstances. Being out on the road for 30ish weeks/weekends per year has changed my whole feelings about adding 10ish weekends in Starkville. It's just become too much like work in my case. It would certainly be easier if these games meant something important and the trends weren't so obvious though.
