He understands this is a tough time and he's going 110% for MSU basketball to get us back on the right track. He's a clear, focused speaker that I think has us starting out in the right direction. Anyone that can't understand why we hired this guy is stupid. He may not have been the best available, but I guarantee he impresses the hell out of people in a 1 on 1 interview.

I really think we've hired ourselves a good coach. The proof is in the performance, but I like his background, I like that he's been involved in several programs that have done better when he was there than they have in the last 20 years. If we're going to miss the NCAA tournament anyway, I'd rather it be with a team that's going to fight and play hard instead of the way we have the last few years. People really need to STFU, band together, and give this guy a chance. We'll take our lumps next year, but we've got a good base to build on with the players we have coming in already plus Ziedacks. And really, I think the best thing for this program is to get rid ofall the bad examples for young playersand start over.
