Ray did not rule out the possibility of freshman Gavin Ware (Starkville High) starting ahead of senior Wendell Lewis at center next season.

I see that the '05-'06 team won 15 games, but that was with a joke of a non-conference schedule. I believe we'll be trading some of those cream puff games for a Maui Classic, Big East challenge, and one or two other decent ones. I think we'll get to 10 wins, but 12 may be pushing it.

that we might see some significant strides from Wendell offensively since Ray is actually working on his offensive game with him. From his interview the other day, it sounded like Stansbury was content to let Wendell be a career garbage man, not doing a whole lot to develop him. I'm not saying any of us should hold our breath though.

Not to mention "significant strides" may not be saying a lot in his case.
