Ohio State is always ranked in the top 3 in recruiting classes. Do they just do less with more or do they get blown by recruiting sites?

Also, looking at the 2010 class we are in on 3 OT, 3 OG, and 3 C. That is 9 linemen and we need everyone.

I have been wondering that same thing. It seems like every year they are top 5 in recruiting and then bow out during the season. It's quite puzzling

on paper it looks really good regarding stars and such, but look at their 40 times for their offensive players though. not as impressive as state or om's if you ask me.

in credentials just because tOSU is on them. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy in a way. Same thing is happening now in Alabama, a state that has never had more than a smattering of legit blue chip talent. Now, if Saban shows up at their school, they start at 4 stars. It's ridiculous.

Yeah, b/c Ohio State has just been having terrible seasons...
Did you ever stop to think that maybe they didn't play as well as they could've in the 2 nat'l title games? They did play TX down to the wire this year, beat Miami for the title a few years back when Miami was supposed to be one of the greatest CFB teams of all time.
Look at their list of NFL players

they can win in the pee wee league that is the Big 10 but when they jump out and go up against a SEC or Big 12 or a USC... Its laughable...

I'm pretty sure they're tied with USC and OU for the most BCS bowl appearances and they have a winning record overall in BCS games. They just haven't done so hot lately, even though they've just lost to better football teams.

Pryor's got a LONG way to go before he can even be close to adequate throwing the ball. There's a reason the other guy got a lot of snaps in the bowl game. He's a mediocre passer at best, but he's infinitely better than Pryor.</p>

than any pocket passer, such as sam bradford who has some of the best wrs in the nation, not to mention the best tight end. he will be more of a dual threat qb than we have seen in recent years (minus vyoung)

for Ohio St. to be a good team, he just needs to be a better passer than Kodi Burns. And he's not.
