I'll be the first to agree that we do need to bring some new blood into our basketball program. Byrne needs to force Stans to replace at least one assistant at the end of this season.

Has this staff been together for 10 years? I sure thought Greg Carter and/or Stan Jones were on staff at some point in the 2000's.

The 3rd & 4th assistant coaches on this staff have rotated some. Greg Carter, Stan Jones, Mark White, and now Marcus Grant the last 2 seasons. But the 2 primary assistants in Kirby & Cunningham have been here from the beginning. I think Grant has a lot of potential. Cunningham needs to move along at season's end.

Kirby has been an assistant at an SEC school for 15 years or so and cant even land a SWAC job...Thats how highly our coaching staff is thought of</p>
