He showed some promise early last year then he choked at UT. He wasn't the same for the rest of the year. I like Riley more than I did last year. He's been pretty tenacious on D this year. I think he provides some good minutes. To me I'm more disappointed in the play of Brian Johnson that that of Benock.

he has been scoring some and will pass the ball down low. He shouldn't be first off the bench though.

is playing his role which is to give minutes without making mistakes and to hit a shot here or there. Actually he fills the role quite well in my opinion. He is also an excellent FT shooter.

You = Retarded...wow that was pretty cool of you....NOT and you thought he made some good passes tonight huh thanks for making my point. When you have a player who doesnt put up any points and "makes some good passes" one would start to wonder why he is on the team...and dont give me he shoots the 3 well because the last time I saw him make a shot is was against arkansas where he had 3 points for the whole game yea I am sure he had 4-5 really good passes though. what a joke.

I was actually quite happy when randy left the game early after numerous bricks , and I think it was RB that took his spot and made some nice passes. What is wrong with making assists and playing good D. NOTHING!

Benock is better than you are giving him credit for.
Yes he is. He's a good defender that the other team has to come out and guard. He was shell-shocked after the UT game last year, and if he gets his confidence back from that he will be a really valuable contributor.

Brandon Vincent was a great scorer too wasn't he? O wait.. and Riley hit two big threes in the Bama game and he doesn't make mistakes.. What has he done wrong?

of Benock. He is a solid player who provides valuable minutes without having any mistakes while he is out there. That is his role. He isn't supposed to mave a major impact on the game while he is out there. Just provide rest for our players for a few minutes. </p>

is that while I doubt he will ever start or even be the 6th man, every team in college needs a guy like him. He is a smart player that knows his role, and does what he is supposed to do, and he doesn't ***** about it or threaten to transfer because he thinks he is the next big thing and that Stans is holding him back.

he doesn't threaten to transfer and provides some defense. he was picking up solid minutes last year and was showing potential.but none of us will ever forget the choke job he provided in the TN game last year, and that includes him. he still hasn't brought the same confidence he possessed prior to giving TN a win last year. i think this Benock is the best we will see out of him for the rest of the year

As usual another post by someone who doesn't understand the game or team concept. Riley is doing what he is asked to do and he has improved his defense immensely from a year ago. Most good teams have players just like him and he certainly is not a problem player who pouts for more minutes. When I read posts like this it reminds me of the dumb *** at the Nashville meeting with Coach Mullen who asked "Coach Mullen, do you think the spread can work at Miss State?" Mullen had to take a deep breath and handled it with class when he should have said, "you stupid ****, it will work anywhere with good players and good coaches". Sometimes I think we have the dumbest fan base in America.

He is a role player that comes off the bench...what the hell do you want from him? He is a solid passer into the post, and plays good defense. His job is to leave the game no worse than he found it coming in, and he does a good job of that.

He turns the ball over very rarely, grabs a rebound, and scores a few points each game. Here is something for ya, he shoots it better than Stewart and if he played the same minutes his stats would project right about the same. He rebounds the same, turns it over less, scores just slightly less, shoots it slightly better...of course that is projected out to the same minutes.

You want a player that is currently a waste of a scholarship??...AUGUSTUS! He has the size we so badly need in the post, he can apparently score, and yet he cant get out of his own way to find the court.

he is such a disappointing waste of size and talent that doesn't touch the floor, somehow he got a Starbury mentally after getting redshirted? since he didn't/couldn't earn any on-the-court praise last year, didn't know that was possible

he does HIS job and thats it, I'm fine with that. Yes, it is true that his ball handling skills are not that great, but he takes up good minutes and when open (no other time) he makes his shot, the 3.

I'll take that 6-8 minutes a game
