Coach Riley agrees that Friday football is stupid. Glad he came out and said he wants NU to pull out of future games to put pressure on our idiot AD.

The Commissioner made the call on his own and was not approached by any of the TV partners. So this is all on Delaney.

Sure the AD could have vetoed it, but based on the negative feedback the coaches are supplying at media days, it may be short lived. Especially when the TV partners didn't ask for this.

Angry at Delany too. But it doesnt give a free pass to our AD. Even northwestern's has more brains.....and balls....and respect for their fans....than ours.

What makes it more amazing in the case of Northwestern...they hardly have any fans show up at their home games so it wouldn't really be that big of a deal in their situation. Maybe their Athletic Director didn't want to inconvenience the opposing fans that fill up a good percentage of their stadium on game days. Winking
