I think Riley wants a chance to compete in tbe SEC. The support staff at half the schools there look considerably larger than what OU has been allowed.
I know everybody thinks he's using LSU the way Stoops did Florida and other rumors to hoist his salary. And he'll get a big pay bump if he stays. But he doesnât want to compete at a bigger disadvantage.
He's not going to get a support staff as big as Saban has. But he wants a support staff at least as good as everybody else in the conference. If OU won't commit to that, we may lose him.
It's ironic that on the premium board, seemingly half the posters rag on him regularly for various reasons, but compalain strongly, when he might consider another place.
