Yep, very sad. I am certainly no film or TV critic, but I think the Sopranos was some of the best TV in the last 20+ years. HBO literally created a new viewing product with the Sopranos, that being the "premium channel" prime time multi-year series. Very sad indeed.

I wasn't a Sopranos fan, but I had the pleasure of seeing Mr. Gandolfini in "God of Carnage" in NYC in 2009 along with Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, and Marcia Gay-Harden. He was fantastic in that.
