To make it MSU-related, Mr. Belding (Dennis Haskins) was a guest basketball coach for us during the 1999-2000 season. He must have coached the freshmens.

That really sucks. Saved by the Bell was my undisputed #1 show growing up, and I hated that he had such a falling out with the rest of the cast. Like anything, I’m sure some of the dirt that he brought up was a little embellished, but I can believe that there was probably a lot of truth to it too. Child actors growing up in front of a Hollywood camera tend to have some drama, and I hope that he was able to bury the hatchet with at least some of them before he passed.

I read yesterday that he was working with a Tool cover band which would have been interesting
