I'm sure Skerritt was great, but I never cared to watch the Top Guns - just never got into rah-rah latent-homosexual military films.

I was however deeply traumatized by what happened to Dallas! I remember it being feeling so un17n fair back in 1979.

In my memory I know him more from Steel Magnolias than anything else.
