Rivals (as do most sites) gives out a handful of 5* each year... a few more 4*....and then a boatload of 3's and 2's.

What it probably boils down to is that 5 out of 50 original 5*'s were first rounders while only 13 out of nearly 2,000 3* and 2*'s were first rounders.

/I'm making and educated guess at the numbers, but I bet I'm close.
