How much time was there when Essex threw the first int? Riverheads scored after that int not the one that ended the half.
I knew it was less than a min. I still blame the 2 back to back penalties though, not the playcalling.
This might be the most penalized game of all time.
Sounds like referees wanted more of spot light than let players play

And they wonder why their not invited to nice places...let me guess it’s all somebody else’s fault that they don’t know how to act. Must be the refs fault some how. What a joke!!!
I was at the game. I wanted Essex to win for Region A after they beat my Tigers last week. With that said, Essex should be completely embarrassed. Outcoached for certain! The interception before halftime was an inexcusable coaching mistake.
Besides the coaching, the school and community should be embarrassed by the lack of discipline. Again, I was cheering for Essex. But, I could not believe what I witnessed. It’s easy to have harmony when you are beating up on your NND schedule but the coaching staff clearly has no control over the players in times of adversity.
How many personal fouls did Essex end up receiving? They were creeping into PM territory with that amount of PF's!
Jones needs to make some "adjustments" on his coaching staff. It's clear the players do not listen or respect the coaching staff and it could not have come at a worse time.
It couldn’t have happened at a better time really! This was just a conformation for the vhsl members that were attending. Seem like everyone wants the current ban lifted but doesn’t do anything to help themselves out.
It wouldn’t matter if u had 4000 seats, gold toilet seats, or the food was catered. NOBODY wants to see kids that can’t control themselves at anytime or anyplace for that matter. SAD to know that they have the talent to be state champs but act like fools on the field!!!
Completely agree. I was impressed with the crowd there for Essex compared to other games but it is hard for the community to get behind a team no matter how good they are and support them when in return we witness a complete lack of discipline.
