Just got in from the tour a few minutes ago. I was ready for football season before this evening, but after sitting through Mullen's speech I am really pumped about this fall. It's a great day to be a State fan!!

It was good but mostly your typical Ra-Ra type stuff from Coach Mullen. I always like listening to what Coach Mullen says about recruiting a QB and the six factors and order of importance:<div>

</div><div>He answered questions and talked about recruiting Favre. Said that if you lined up all the QBs on stage that he has ever recruited, you wouldn't think they would fit into the same system. </div><div>
</div><div>Also, Coach Diaz made an impromptu appearance. He didn't speak on stage but just talking to him you could tell that the guy is an animal. Cool guy too. He said he liked what he got out of his defense in the spring but that until fall comes it doesn't mean anything. Said that ifthey got scored on this year he'd know a lot more after that.</div>
