Interesting that LSU is playing at 1:00 today and the USM-UNO game is at night. Is that because of TV or does LSU not like to take the chance of having to play a day game after a night game (if they lose the first game). I don't think they'd be taking much of a chance since they're playing a SWAC team that only went 7-17 in conference play before winning the SWAC tournament.

we've played the first game on Friday. It's likely for the extra rest and I think you get more people to the "other"game if you've already played. Skip's always looking to make a few bucks. Like in Starkville, it makes no sense to have State play the late game and have no one at the early game. This way, you make everyone get off work, fill the stadium for the game that would have been lightly attended, then get about half to 3/4 stay for the second game. Business baby.

It just seems strange as hell to see LSU playing a day game in anything voluntarily.
