Several of us will be heading down to Columbia tomorrow.

I've been to neutral sites before, Chicago, Atlanta and New Orleans,
but his will be my first UK game at the opponents gym and I'm excited
to be a part of the Big Blue Mist.

Who else is going?

I live in Columbia. There are literally thousands of UK fans in SC and Columbia. Put it like this, I travel the state for my job and I run into several UK fans every single day. USC's home arena really isn't a home arena when they play Kentucky and it really never has been. This year they waited until the last minute to sell their tickets, in order to try to keep UK fans out.

I can't wait to see if it worked, however I doubt it. I think there will still be more UK fans there....

SC fans are the slime of humanity. The good news is UK fans will outnumber or be close in number to them.

Give the Gamecock fans a break. USC hasn't won an NCAA tournament game since 1973.
I'll be there as I've been to every UK game in Columbia since Carolina joined the SEC.
5 years ago, we were 19-0 and ranked #1 going to South Carolina and we all know what happened,
USC is very thin up front, UK in a romp. I hope to hear the BBN tomorrow at Colonial Life Arena.

We are heading down as well! Does anyone know any bars that may be open early for the game for a little pregame?

Because the game is so early, there nothing that been officially set. But they do open at 11 on Saturday. I doubt if many people will be there.

2 more from the upstate. We always go but didn't last year so I blame that loss on us. We'll be there tomorrow to fulfill our duty.

A GREAT restaurant is below. They are a local Italian restaurant and they have phenomenal pizza. They aren't expensive at all, either. It's like iL, not a Roman numeral 2.

Thirsty Fellow also opens at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow:

Great place to go and very close walk to Colonial Life Arena. In fact, it's right across the street from the public parking lots. I expect it will be packed all day.
