I hear Nutt went to see him Wednesday. Johnson scheduled a official visit on Jan 22. Nutt scheduled a inhome for Thursday (yesterday)... Nutt was a NO show...

I think we should have a commit today?
Anybody heard anything?

But I will say that I am pleasantly surprised that we are most likely gonna get Johnson. I was under the impression for a long time that we weren't really a contender. I credit Mullen and staff for this one. If we close with the guys that we are capable of closing with, the OM fans should go into meltdown mode.

The whole system is screwed up really, because you have guys who publish premium information. So at some point it becomes public info right? When does that happen? After an hour? a day? a week?

Also this board plays favorites w/ the recruiting sites anyway.

The clarion-ledger or on Rivals/Scout's free page. As soon as he's listed as commit then it's not premium info...things that are posted on Rivals/Scout's premium message board really shouldn't be reported here.

Especially in that photo. I think I am right in saying that one and one or two others are the only photos of him around.

I heard from a family source that there are only 4 or 5 pictures of him around.....and his estate owns NONE of them. The rights are held by others.

If coaches were allowed two in-person contacts in a week, then your story might hold up. They are only allowed one.
Unfortunately, you do not know the rules...and your story makes you look foolish.
RJ is a state lean. Tony Hughes has done a great job recruiting him. IMHO, he is the best pure wideout in the state.

Also, the rights to all the pictures are basically owned by one guy, and I think he got the rights to all of Johnson's songs from the half-sister or something that inherited them. Don't know if he got the rights to the pictures the same way or if he had to buy them from other people the estate or had to by them separatley from non-descendents

Freakishly long fingers and all. Maybe JV sold his soul to the devil on the corner of 82 and 25 in return for his shot blocking skills.
