Yep TTU won at KU, likely leapfrogging us already. Committee was taking injuries into consideration so now that we definitely won’t improve health wise I can see us dropping. This shouldn’t have been mentioned until after selection show. We probably get a 4
I got news for ya, I don't think our slide is over yet. All today did was reinforce what direction I think this team is realistically heading. I'm usually pretty positive, but I just can't talk myself into hope for this squad right now.

I'm not sure just beating lsu gets us a 4 either with this news.

I guess they couldn't cover this up for 15 days due to the surgery happening next week. It will cost us seeding, as it should.

Won't cut any ice with some of these chicken littles.

We just got decimated (granted to a really good team) and now one of our best player is done for the year.

Sky may not be falling, but it's hailing its *** off. Reality is right now, we're limping into yet another tournament. It's nobody's fault, but it's freaking exhausting after coming of the suck that was John Calipari the last few seasons.

Well if we can avoid a first round loss vs an Oakland or a St. Freaking Peters, I'll consider it a major upgrade.

If we were healthy, I'd be right there with you. It's very possible we don't win another game.

Semper, it would be hard to talk you off the ledge on this one. It wasn’t just a bad loss —- it was a blowout home loss. Naturally, we are all upset over this one. Losing Robinson to me does likely lower your ceiling by quite a bit…just being real. I don’t think a final four run is really feasible without Robinson and it was already unlikely to begin with. That said, I can’t see the team falling below a 4 seed as long as they beat LSU and win an SECT game. If they had kept today close and won LSU game and an SECT game I think they would have gotten a 3 but I think admitting JRob is out for the year will close that door. Now the committee has no reason to account for injuries and health as much.

Never fails here at Kentucky:

2013-Noel
2014-WCS
2015-Poythress
2018-Vanderbilt
2019-Washington (returned in Sweet 16)
2021- Clarke
2022-Frederick
2024-Mitchell/Bradshaw (both returned)
2025-Robinson/Butler

Just haven’t caught many breaks since winning our last championship.
That’s every team in college basketball

at this point, considering everything, if we win one sect game and one ncaa game it would be a successful season imo. our starting backcourt can’t go. all ball handling, defense and half court scoring and playmaking essentially gone. williams and oweh overtaxed. a shame.

This is odd timing. He was on Twitter a week or two ago begging UK fans to leave him alone…hmmm

March used to be so much fun. It's just a painful reminder of what we were the last 6 years.
Yep. My love for sports is just about dead.

Used to love HS Football. Hoptown has sucked for a long time since the glory days of the 90s
College Football and Basketball just aren't the same, and when we're sturggling, it's even less fun.
Pro sports? Baseball and Football were all I really cared about. Titans have sucked and at least the Braves have a title this decade. Outside of that bright spot, my teams have sucked major *** lately.

There are a lot of people saying Pope brought him back to early. After the initial injury he needed season ending surgery but they were hoping for a miracle and tried to have him come back without surgery. But that was never going to be the case. That injury was not going to heal without surgery. His season was done from the get go

I tore the ligaments in my right wrist and had the surgery. Those ligaments don't repair themselves and there is no way to play major college basketball with that injury.

Not a shocker but nonetheless a killer for this teams chances of making the sweet 16 and beyond.
I think Mark is going to have to make a change to his offense. He needs to start running double screens to get his unathletic shooters some open shots. The dribble handoff that he is running with Williams isn't working because his shooters are just too damn slow to get the separation to get off shots.
