That looked beyond turned. Hope he's okay. He had a great game on both ends of the floor.

Looked like a nasty sprain, but sometimes young guys can shake those off in a day or two.

I hope Tai's ribs are okay after that clown from PSU cheap-shotted him late in the game. That was a total chickens--- move and it didn't even draw a whistle.

Can`t be, Big 10 officials are great and never miss a call.

Ankle sprains like that may take a few weeks to heal. That's assuming there is no fractures and they iced it really quick. They were at home and he went to the locker room right away.

Having played basketball all through High School and College, it's tough to say on something like that. I know that after a while I had sprained my ankle so many times that I could turn it and be fine after moving for about 15 minutes.... However, without knowing his history of ankle injuries and such it's tough to say. He could play with it taped up tight if it's just a normal "low ankle" sprain.... However, if it's a high ankle sprain he could be out up to 8 weeks. They say those are worse than a fracture sometimes. When Miles came down he seemed to wave him off and say he was ok. I hope he just turned if over and he can be fine moving forward.

Yeah I agree. It looked pretty bad, and it might be. But I rolled an ankle like that a couple of times, thought I would be on crutches for a week, but got lucky and there was no real damage. (Oh, to be 19 again....)

Anyway, just hope it doesn't keep him out long.

I had really stretchy ligaments. It was a blessing and a curse. Caused a lot of pain and dislocated my joints easier than most.

And I'm sure you didn't have the training and medical staff looking out for you that Roby has at Nebraska..

Will know more if he practices tomorrow I imagine.

I've rolled it and played the next day, I've also rolled it a few times where I could barely put weight on it for weeks.

The medical staff will do their best, probably at worst sit the OSU game.

Miles said it really "looked nasty" immediately after the game. But as people have said, you never know. I fractured my ankle twice coming down on someone's foot, but OTOH came down multiple times pretty much the same way and just tweaked it.

Kugler missed his chance to make this epic call.
“There it is again. Clarence leaping and forcing the ball in a downward direction through the net off of a high arching pass.” – Dick Pepperfield (Semi Pro)

Roby hasn't even practiced from what they said so we will miss him tonight is an understatement.

Thank God Morrow is back. tOSU pounded us down low the second half in Lincoln last time which helped them make their come back.

Um it's 50-50 which rules out probably.
Um. It's 50-50 that he'll even suit up:
"I don't know how much we'll do with him. I would say it's 50-50 at best that he even dresses out," Miles said.

But, um, sorry for my horrific misuse of the word probably. My, um, apologies to all I may have offended.

A lot different than saying he has a good chance to play now isn't it? Half empty half full kind of thing I guess.

Good Lord, does the Johnny SuperFan Brigade have to turn every basketball post into a pissing match?

I read Miles' comments and simply concluded that while Roby's ankle isn't wrecked, he probably isn't going to play in today's game. Because there was a thread asking for updates on his injury, I posted a link to the article. If that makes me a horrible, unworthy fan, I'll just have to deal with the shame and humiliation.

I was just surprised to read it was 50-50 when you stated he probably wouldn't play. Overreaction on your part.
