This I have predictions - 75 points scored, two personal fouls, handshakes and hugs after the game.

I gotta believe Rochester has been looking forward to this rematch since last season.
Winner of this game should win 4A.

Please keep in mind Althoff is also a far better team then last year. Especially on the defensive side of the ball. With that I like Althoff in this one

Althoff didn't exactly blow Taylorville out of the water for most of the game (20-7 at halftime). Taylorville threw for almost 300 yards...and they have nowhere near the receiving talent that Rochester does. No team in the State may have the weapons at WR the Rockets do. Rochester just clocked a team Taylorville lost to by 25. Add in revenge factor, and I'll take Rochester by a few TD's.

I've yet to see a team this year shut down Althoff running game. Althoff has one back that has over 2,000 yards. You can't really compare the rockets playing the same team Althoff played as a logical assessment of which is the better team. Both teams play a totally different style of football. Every week you game plan for your next opponent. It's all about execution. Althoff will be ready.

Looks like a metro east double header Saturday. Eville/GBW at 1 and the rematch at 7pm. Great day to be a high school football fan.

I wish I could attend, however, I will be traveling to see the flyers! Best of luck to both of the home teams. Let's go TIgers, Flyers and Crusaders! Let's bring home a championship in 8a, 7A and 4a!!!

Winner of this game last year lost by 44 to Phillips last year. Both these teams are playing for a runner-up trophy.

Bester will not see 50 yards on the night against Phillips.

The Rochester defense is improved over last year and, with another year's experience for the receivers, the offense is potent again this year. If Althoff hadn't beaten Rochester last year I would call it a toss up, but not this year; Rochester by 10+.

They will reload. Lot of area to draw from and now all the best players that are not at Private schools will find their way to Phillips.

Isnt the rule that kids from outside the defined boundary have to start there as freshmen? Which would seem to limit junior/senior transfers..

I am not up on transfer rules. I know they have new kids this year. Even if Phillips has only their defined boundary to draw from it's still thousands of students.

Still curious why their enrollment here is shown as 813 and their IHSA enrollment is 574

Totally non football related..pulled this from the schools website.. 100% of the kids accepted to college when average ACT is 14.7????

Phillips is a jewel in the heart of Bronzeville. Phillips has developed a college going culture over the past five years. Currently, the class of 2016 has achieved 100% acceptance into a college or university with 83% of those being four year institutions! This class has also earned $11.3 million in scholarships! In November 2015, the Phillips Wildcats were the first CPS team to win the IHSA Football Championship and 6 seniors have received full athletic and academic scholarships to Division I Universities!
