Name one band whose members are under 30 that is a guitar driven rock-n-roll band?

When some of these older bands croak....... newer younger bands will take their place. Such is the cycle or rock.
They're not even the best current rock band from Kentucky. I'll take Black Stone Cherry all day long over CTE.

Rock is not dead, you just gotta look for it a little bit more. If a festival comes to your town look at the bill for it and listen to at least a song or 2 from all the bands on it, I bet you find something you like. The mainstream media is not going to feed you the great bands like MTV used to do though, that does not happen anymore.

And, I might suggest that you stop purposefully limiting your own choices by insisting on finding bands whose members are under 30. There are lots of great "super group" bands out there. Guys that have been in the business for decades that decide to form a new band with their friends. Search for talent, not age.

Cage the Elephant is more alt-rock.. Which is not bad, at all. But if that's your "last rock band".. You got some exploring to do. Tons of bands like CtE.

White Reaper. And they are from Louisville at that. Took me a little while to find one. I haven't really kept up with music since I finished up my undergrad degree back in 2007.
Why does a genre from the 50's need to exist now? Rock has evolved and there are like 60 subgenres of it. Kids don't want to play the music their parents liked..
