She's missing a whole bunch of chord changes.


Sir Elton is one of my favorites, mainly this and all his 70's stuff. He's too good live to lipsync. I think Top of the Pops started making everyone do it at some point in that era, which is kind of a shame. Of course, they were also dealing with groups like The Who (and later Sex Pistols, Nirvana, etc.) who were total risks having on live TV.

Don't you believe that microphone was generating all those over dubs and echos?
