Rodney Hood could very well come in next year and replace

Ravern. He is a much better ball handler, has great touch inside the arc, and plays pretty good defense. He does not play straight up, good bend at the waist. Have not seen him take many three's, but has a nice stroke. Did we recruit Michael Ammons of Vicksburg? He looks damn good too, think he is going to Cornell.

He supposedly was getting a lot of interest early, and talked about wanting to go out of state. After seeing this game, I'm not sure why he ended up at USA. I like his moves and handle, with good size.

You're absolutely right about Hood.

Shaun Smith packing. I think Smith might be a bust. Another great attribute that Hood has is that he is very long, damn good from the ft line also.

replace 18 points a game and 45% 3 point shooting? Wow I didn't realize we signed LeBron Jr. If he averages 18 a game in the SEC as a true freshman he will be on the first team all american freshman squad and will go pro after one year. How good were Bowers,Austin,Gordon,Dampier,Roberts etc. when they were true freshman. Not 18 points good. So you're predicting Hood to be the best player ever at MSU. Gotcha! Hope you're right:) that will be fun to watch for one year.

Of course, you can't even get his stats right so I doubt anyone can convince you otherwise. Much less the fact that Ravern negates a good bit of the offense he provides by not playing defense and taking bad shots. Granted, he has finally played up to his potential since the suspension, at least on the offensive end.

since you don't like round numbers. He averages 17.4 points and .431%. Sorry I exaggerated and put 18 and .45%. I was way off.

And if you round 17.4 to 18 on the Wonderlic, you'd probably miss that, too. Either way, those numbers are not impossible to replaceunless you signLeBron Jr. And if you haven't heard, Rodney Hood can play. Stans won't give him the minutes or shots to average 18 or 17.4 ppg, but Hood is talented enough to do just that.

Benock's .438 is the best 3FG% on our team.

I stand corrected. It is .392. Ravern has been shooting way over that post twitter suspension and it's fresh in my memory. I hope you're right about Hood, I'm just cautious to have those expectations until I see high school seniors enrolled and playing on the court. Monta Ellis, Travis Outlaw and Jonathan Bender have taught me to ignore high school hype till I see them actually playing for State.
